Bottom third of the table all the way through, flirting with relegation watching our disjointed team outplayed and outfought by teams consisting of inferior players who are greater than the sum of their parts, in stark contrast to us.
There will be stories of discontent all season long and at some point Bilic will be sacked.

By the time the new players bed in, confidence is built, tactics are understood, team gels and fitness improves, it will be too late.

If the owners are stupid enough to allow Bilic another two or three months, then the drop is the only outcome.
However, if they show some backbone and recruit a manager in the next two weeks with strength of character and focus, then we have a chance of mid-table.
Two years ago I really wanted Slav as boss and was confident he'd succeed, but I seriously started losing faith in him last year when he wasted Antonio's effectiveness by playing him as a full back, and kept the experiment going even though it was clear as the nose on his face that Mikael was no defender.
If the spivs give him the chance he'll take us down.

Relegated is how I honestly see us ending up. This is not after 3 games but the last 40 or 50 since Mar/Apr 2016.
90 odd goals conceded in 53 games or something like that and only 6 wins in the last 25 - 30 games.

I agree it depends a lot on whether Bilic stays or not. I see nothing but relegation if he stays because he is a lame duck manager and everyone knows it.
It's the board that needs pressure now to act and pay the money for a decent manager. Bilic looks a beaten and broken man.

Our current manager is so poor its laughable.

why? shit owners who think its ok to let go three players to every one arrival and still function at a consistent level, a clueless manager, ineffectual coaching team that resemble yes men, unfit players, disinterested players, a minimal amount of technically gifted players in the squad, overloaded with technically inept players/especially in defensive positions, crap stadium only fit for athletics
